About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience in accounting and analysis. As a Graduate Trainee, you will be responsible for various accounting and analytical tasks, supporting the wider finance team and contributing to continuous improvement projects.

You will work on a hybrid and flexible basis, joining a friendly, high-performing team working in pleasant surroundings. The successful candidate will be responsible for running monthly finance reports to analyse company revenue performance and spend management, assisting with the production of slides for the monthly leadership team meeting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reports: Run monthly finance reports to analyse company revenue performance and spend management
  • Slide Preparation: Assist with the production of slides for the monthly leadership team meeting
  • Budgeting Support: Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Sales Reporting: Assist with weekly sales flash reporting
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Support the Finance Director and external consultants with supply chain forecasting
  • Improvement Projects: Contribute to continuous improvement projects
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Other ad-hoc finance responsibilities to support an agile finance team

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant subject (ideally Accounting or Finance)
  • Technical Expertise: IT literate with a good level of competency using Excel and Word
  • Learner's Mindset: Aptitude for learning new systems
  • Career Ambition: Genuine interest in finance and desire to start an accounting/finance career
