We are seeking an experienced Sustainable Operations Specialist to join our team at Olleco, a leading sustainable food business. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability of our mechanical and electrical systems and contributing to a sustainable food business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience as an electrically biased maintenance technician or similar role, with a proven track record of performing planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. They will also have experience in continuous/process improvement and LEAN manufacturing, with certifications in NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, C&G 2357 & BS7671 (18th Edition), and Test and Inspection 2391/2392.

The ideal candidate will also have a high level of attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Training in PLC on Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley Product is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ensure asset reliability
  • Contribute to a sustainable food business by reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact
  • Support on mechanical tasks as required
Requirements
  • Demonstratable experience as an electrically biased maintenance technician or similar role
  • Proven electrical and instrumental/mechanical experience
  • Experience in continuous/process improvement and LEAN manufacturing
  • Certifications in NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, C&G 2357 & BS7671 (18th Edition), and Test and Inspection 2391/2392
  • Desirable training in PLC on Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley Product
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including:
