Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced clinician to join our Children's Community Service as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will work across the urban and rural communities of Gloucestershire, providing assessment, goal planning, and reviews to enable patients to gain their maximum level of independence in their own homes and schools.

Main Duties of the Job

We are seeking an experienced, flexible, and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Children's community service. The successful applicant will have a good variety of clinical experience and be committed to providing the highest standard of assessment and treatment.

  • Provide a service through holistic assessment, collaborative goal setting, and the delivering and evaluating of intervention to children in their homes or schools.
  • Assess and treat own caseload of patients/clients.
  • Provide supervision and support to registered OTs, OT assistants as appropriate.
  • Provide occupational therapy advice to other disciplines.
  • May participate in departmental research.
