Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Quality Nurse to join our Acute Pain Services team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver an expert inpatient specialist service for patients requiring acute pain assessment and interventions.
- Provide advice, education, and support to staff, patients, families, and carers to ensure seamless specialist nursing services.
- Develop individual competence and knowledge to support the provision and evaluation of high-quality clinical care.
- Support the Lead Specialist Practitioner Nurse in installing evidence-based standards and contributing to the Pain Care Service's objectives.
- Participate in formal and informal education of self and others to maintain a high standard of clinical care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of expertise in pain management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
