About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Consultant to join our team at Barking Havering and Redbridge Univ Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic neuroradiology services, including the provision of a range of MDT and on-call services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting cross-sectional neuro and head and neck radiology scans performed on new MRI and CT scanners
  • Contributing to the general duty roster, including vetting cross-sectional scans and solving queries from clinical and radiology teams
  • Supporting diagnostic neuroradiology on-call service
  • Reporting CT Head and Neck angiograms independently to support the service
  • Participating in weekly Neuro-oncology, Neurology and MS, Head and neck, Skull base, Head and Neck, Thyroid and Spine MDTs
Requirements
  • Completed training in diagnostic radiology
  • Experience in neuroradiology or a neuroradiology fellowship
  • Ability to report advanced imaging modalities such as Perfusion, Spectroscopy, Functional MRI
  • Experience with head and neck FNA's to support the head and neck/Thyroid service
