Teaching Assistant Opportunity for Russell Group Graduates

Prospero Teaching is seeking recent graduates from Russell Group universities who are interested in pursuing a career in education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support students with learning needs and gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of needs, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups to support students who require additional support
  • Run tuition groups in your subject-specific area
  • Run extra-curricular activities to promote student engagement and development
  • Support students' moral, cultural, social, and spiritual development

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree with a 2:2 minimum
  • No previous education experience is required to apply
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
