About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to join our team at the City of York Council. As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement public health programs and initiatives to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent disease.

Person Specification

  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related field.
  • Proven experience in public health program development and implementation.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
