Job Title: Adult Rehab Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership to our multidisciplinary team and working with inpatients at our Anson Road site in Victoria Park, Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of care plans and risk assessments.
  • Be the Responsible Clinician and have a role with respect to The Mental Health Act, including section 12 work, attending tribunals, and section renewal meetings.
  • Lead CPA meetings and be actively involved with the team in care planning and risk assessment.
  • Contribute to clinical audit and participate in research.
  • Participate in the Manchester senior on-call rota pro rata, covering general adult services.
