About the Role:

Inspired Selections is seeking a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our high-end independent practice. As an Optometrist with Inspired Selections, you will have the opportunity to work across two locations, with a balance of three days in Catford and two days in Colchester. This role requires a commitment to working on Saturdays, with a salary range of up to £55,000+ bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including pre-screening when necessary.
  • Assist with front-of-house duties during busy periods.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills and commercial awareness.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • We welcome candidates who are newly qualified up to a maximum of three years of experience.
  • Comfortable using a phoropter and managing computer-based records.
  • Familiarity with OCT technology, with 40-minute testing times as standard.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range: £50,000 – £55,000, adjusted based on experience.
  • 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Monthly bonus of 10% on second-pair sales, shared between the Optometrist and front-of-house staff.
  • One pair of glasses provided per year.
  • 50% friends and family discount on eyewear.
  • Relocation assistance of up to £3,000, paid in equal instalments over the first year (subject to conditions).
