Salary: £7-£7 per annum (inclusive of £ Distant Islands Allowance per annum)

Job Description:

As a Hospitality Services Assistant with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of Perceval Square Public Convenience. Your responsibilities will include general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as emptying bins and polishing fixtures and fittings.

You will work across 7 days, with a varied schedule that includes morning and evening shifts. This position requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as you will need to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar post
  • Understanding of the cleaning requirements of commercial premises
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary, inclusive of the Distant Islands Allowance, and appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
