About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our dynamic physiotherapy team in a private clinic in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality MSK assessments and treatments, managing a diverse caseload, and contributing to clinical service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Treat various MSK conditions including sports injuries, back and neck pain, joint issues, and post-surgical cases.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in line with clinic standards and regulatory guidelines.

Mentorship and Team Support

  1. Provide clinical supervision, support, and mentorship to junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
  2. Conduct case discussions, training sessions, and workshops to support team development and knowledge-sharing.

Patient Education

  • Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent re-injury.
  • Provide clear guidance on home exercise programs and long-term rehabilitation strategies.

Service Development and Quality Improvement

  1. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the MSK physiotherapy services, establishing best practices within the clinic.
  2. Participate in audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery and patient outcomes.
  3. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the MSK department to enhance the clinic's reputation and patient satisfaction.

Communication and Multidisciplinary Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring healthcare providers to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
  • Work closely with other physiotherapists, sports therapists, and healthcare professionals within the clinic to deliver holistic patient care.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients to build trust and loyalty to the clinic.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications: Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with full HCPC registration in the UK.
  2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience (for Band 6) or 5+ years (for Band 7) in an MSK setting, preferably including private practice or sports injury management.
  3. Skills: Strong diagnostic and assessment skills, manual therapy expertise, and experience with MSK rehabilitation techniques.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000-£60,000 per annum, performance-based incentives, and a pension plan. You will also have access to professional development opportunities, including CPD funding and mentorship support.
