Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver and crew supervisor to join our Streetscene Service team. As a refuse and recycling vehicle operator, you will be responsible for driving and maintaining a range of collection vehicles, supervising a crew, and ensuring a reliable and efficient refuse collection service to residents and businesses in Hull.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and maintain a range of refuse and recycling collection vehicles
  • Supervise and mentor a crew to ensure a high standard of service delivery
  • Monitor and report on crew performance, issues, and changes to trade contracts
  • Ensure completion of daily schedules and related paperwork
  • Contribute to the Council's statutory recycling targets and departmental objectives
