Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to help determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions to understand how their condition affects their daily life.
  2. Produce detailed reports to support the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining a person's eligibility for benefits.
  3. Develop and maintain your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision.

Requirements:

  1. Valid HCPC registration number.
  2. At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  3. Right to work in the UK.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
