**Job Overview**

We are recruiting for a Child Protection Specialist Therapist to join our team in North-East Wales. The successful candidate will work closely with families affected by child abuse and neglect, providing intensive support and guidance to help them overcome the challenges they face.

The role requires a high level of skill and expertise in working with complex cases, where there is a child or young person aged 6 – 17 living at home who are subject to a Child Protection Plan due to child abuse and neglect and who is at risk of entering care. You will need to be able to assess and identify the specific problems and risk factors that brought the family to the attention of Children's Services and develop and implement effective treatment plans to address these issues.
