About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team in Chelmsford, Essex. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational outreach programmes to individuals in need of functional skills development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and informative functional skills sessions to learners
  • Create tailored learning plans to meet the specific needs of each individual
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to education delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and progress

The role is based in Chelmsford, Essex, with travel required to different outreach locations in the East of England region. The position is part-time, with flexible hours to accommodate learners' schedules. The estimated salary for this position is £24-£32 per hour.
