Job Description:

At Arm, we are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Systems Subsystem Engineer to join our Systems Development team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex subsystems and SoC designs for various application segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop micro-architecture specifications for compute subsystems.
  • Develop RTL and run various design checks to ensure the quality of the design.
  • Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues.
  • Work with the implementation team to optimize the designs.
  • Guide and support other members of the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience or knowledge in the following areas: Static design checks, Synthesis and timing analysis, Power management techniques, Power and Clock domain crossing.
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems and practical experience of working on Processor-based system designs.
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python etc.).
  • Technical team leadership, mentoring or coaching experience.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
  • Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures.
  • Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDRLPDDRHBM, Ethernet etc.
  • High-level programming experience such as C++ and/or assembly language programming.
  • Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor and embedded system hardware architectures.
