About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Fire Door Install Supervisor to oversee our fire door installation projects from start to finish. In this role, you will ensure that fire door works are completed on-time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Supervise all fire door activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  2. Operative Management: Manage operatives and subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed to the required standard.
  3. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, reporting any delays to Contracts Managers.
  4. Quality Assurance: Liaise with Contracts Managers, the Fire Doors team, and other stakeholders to maintain quality standards.
  5. On-Site Inspections: Conduct regular on-site inspections, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  6. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to on-site workers, including training where required.
  7. Compartmentation and Fire Strategy: Understand compartmentation and fire strategy drawings before commencing work.
  8. Documentation: Record all installations using our project management software.
  9. Health and Safety: Ensure all required PPE is worn and maintained and hold a valid CSCS card.

Essential Requirements:

  1. 1 to 2 years' experience in fire door installation.
  2. FIRAS & BM Trained for fire door installation.
  3. Strong construction management experience, with a focus on fire door install supervision.
  4. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  5. Basic manual handling skills and initiative to resolve challenges.

Working Conditions:

This is an on-site role, requiring work outdoors in all weather conditions. Occasional irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, may be needed to ensure projects stay on track. PPE will be provided.
