Job Title: Disability Support Worker

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver care and support in a person-centered manner to ensure the client's needs are at the centre of their care.
  • Monitor and support the psychological and emotional wellbeing of our clients.
  • Support with aspects of personal care, including administration of medication.
  • Develop structured routines and activities to encourage therapeutic relationship development and engagement in hobbies and activities.
  • Assess and monitor behavioral presentation in conjunction with the PBS plan.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months of UK-based paid care experience caring for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health conditions.
