Job Title: Support WorkerWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Washington. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting five individuals with varying needs, including visual impairment, epilepsy, and learning disabilities, to live independently and fulfill their potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in activities, such as local walks, shopping, and social events.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when interacting with service users.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
