Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Support Worker / Lifestyle Co-ordinator to join our team. This role involves providing personal care and support to our customers, enabling them to participate in daily activities and appointments within the local community.

Key Tasks

  • Assist customers with personal care and daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Accompany customers on outings and appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, families, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies to promote best practice in care and support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progression

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A caring and compassionate approach to working with vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (paid for by The Oaklea Trust)
