Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support the delivery of a ~£30M marine civils package as part of the Sizewell C programme.

You will join a niche Marine Civil Contractor and work closely with the Senior Project Manager to organise the day-to-day running of this project, which includes over 1,000 metres of sheet piling, cofferdam construction, and diversion of existing drainage channels.

This is a unique and challenging piece of civil engineering that will be carried out in an area of SSSI.

As a Project Manager, you will enjoy a fixed working location for the next few years, along with a platform to advance your career to Site Agent. You will also gain unique technical experience, working in a true niche alongside experts in their field.

The project is due to start in March 2025, meaning you'll spend your first few months assisting in preparing the project, managing permits, sorting out logistics plans, and so on.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND, or Degree)
  2. Have several years of site-based experience gained working on civil engineering projects with values more than £10M
  3. Have some understanding of the NEC form of contract
  4. Hold a valid CSCS Card and SSSTS or SMSTS

On offer is a salary of around £55,000 per annum, a car allowance, DC pension, accommodation and subsistence, and 25 days holiday.
