Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - KS1 Class

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in North Liverpool. The successful candidate will provide support to the class teacher and children in a KS1 class, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Learning and Development: Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, providing individualized support to children as needed.
  • Classroom Management: Help maintain a well-organized and tidy classroom, ensuring all resources are available and accessible to children.
  • Child Support: Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Must have previous experience working in an educational setting or similar, with a focus on supporting children's learning and development.
  • Skills and Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
