Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Fire Door Inspector to support our client across a portfolio in London and the south. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quarterly inspections of common part fire doors and annual inspections of flat front doors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.

The Role:

  • Conduct quarterly inspections of all common part fire doors across various sites to identify and report any defects, wear and tear, or non-compliance issues.
  • Perform annual inspections of flat front doors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and maintain detailed records of all inspections.
  • Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and standards, and participate in fire safety audits and reviews as required.
  • Communicate effectively with building managers, residents, and other stakeholders regarding fire safety issues and inspection schedules.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to fire safety and door inspections.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience as a Fire Door Inspector or a similar role in fire safety is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of fire door components, installation, and maintenance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
  • Good communication skills and a full UK driving license.
