Account Manager - Sports and Entertainment Industry

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team at Right Formula Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of brands across the sports and entertainment industries, delivering strategically smart consultancy, activation, and creative ideas that produce a clear ROI for our clients.

About the Role
  • This is a key position managing a major multi-national client on their long-standing partnership with a Formula 1 team.
  • You will oversee the client relationship on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the partnership runs smoothly and realizes its objectives.
  • Regular contact with the client and other key stakeholders is crucial, ensuring agreed activations are delivered to a high quality, on time, and within budget.

The role requires international travel, approximately 8-10 events, and is based at our offices in London. You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day management of client's partnership objectives and liaison with clients at relevant levels.
  • Supporting the strategic development, implementation, and execution of global activations across multiple markets and customized programs that meet client objectives across brand and product initiatives.
  • Managing the delivery of project workstreams to a specific schedule and within the agreed budget using proven project management tools.
  • Managing the operational planning and delivery of events, including end-to-end guest management, supplier sourcing and management, gifting and collateral sourcing and management, development of run of shows, HSSE considerations, onsite management.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of property, agency, or client-based account management experience in the sports and entertainment industries.
  • Working experience in Formula 1 or other motorsport is essential.
  • Experience of partnership management with a strong focus on activation planning and hospitality delivery.
  • Onsite logistical experience to deliver activations and hospitality programmes.
  • A proven track record of building and managing budgets, and project-related reports for the client.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Creative and passionate about sponsorship, brand experience, and hospitality delivery.
  • Proactive at delivering projects to tight and challenging deadlines.
  • The willingness to note relevant trends, learn new skills, and develop creative ideas.
  • Willingness to work flexible work hours, including weekends.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:
