Early Years Teaching Position in Sevenoaks

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Sevenoaks. As a full-time teacher, you will be responsible for the day-to-day teaching and learning of all students in the class.

Your role will involve supporting children's learning and development, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to build confidence and enhance their academic skills.

The school aims to provide an exceptional education, fostering young minds and setting high expectations. They have achieved 'Excellent' in all areas in their recent inspection.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum Development: Design and implement an engaging EYFS curriculum that caters to the needs of diverse learners.
  2. Social and Emotional Support: Provide patient and understanding support to children's diverse needs, remaining calm in challenging situations.
  3. Participation Encouragement: Foster an inclusive environment that promotes participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
  4. Policies and Compliance: Adhere to legal requirements and policies of the school.
  5. Pupil Welfare: Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Hold QTS or EYFS equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience: Have previous experience working as an Early Years teacher or in a similar role.
  3. DBS Certificate: Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply.
