Job Overview

The Senior Animation Director will oversee the animation team in creating high-quality animations for games. This role involves collaborating with other departments to ensure animations are seamlessly integrated and maintaining a consistent standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain animation quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with programmers, artists, and designers to bring animations to life.
  3. Review and refine animations to enhance quality.
  4. Provide guidance and support to the animation team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in leading or supporting animation teams, ideally with a completed game project.
  2. Familiarity with 3D animation tools (such as 3ds Max or Maya).
  3. Basic understanding of game development workflows and engines (like Unreal).
  4. Good communication skills and a genuine interest in multiplayer games.

Additional Skills:

  1. Knowledge of technical animation, such as rigging and skinning, is a plus.
  2. Experience with Motion Capture, Cinematics, or Facial Animation is beneficial.
