Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Public Health Team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will support work across Wrexham & Flintshire and work regionally across North Wales on projects or programmes within the annual work plan.

Main Duties

The post-holder will lead and support a programme of public health work, based on the public health priorities within North Wales. This includes tobacco control, reducing alcohol harm, sexual health, physical activity, healthy weight, mental health and wellbeing, healthcare public health and reducing health inequalities.

The post-holder should be prepared to travel across the North Wales area and will spend part of their time in the office and part of their time working from home. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.
