Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Public Health Team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting work across Wrexham & Flintshire and regionally across North Wales on projects and programmes within the annual work plan.

Main Duties

The post-holder will lead and support a programme of public health work, based on the public health priorities within North Wales, including tobacco control, reducing alcohol harm, sexual health, physical activity, healthy weight, mental health and wellbeing, healthcare public health, and reducing health inequalities.

The successful candidate will be required to travel across the North Wales area, spending part of their time in the office and part of their time working from home, as well as attending face-to-face meetings. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role, and Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
