About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accident Repair Bodyshop Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars in Bury St Edmunds. As an experienced MET technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient repair of vehicles.

Job Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical and bodywork repairs on allocated jobs, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Dismantle vehicles ready for panel shop work.
  • Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work to identify issues.
  • Order replacement parts as required.
  • Reassemble vehicles with new parts to pre-accident condition.
Requirements
  • Plan workload effectively to meet agreed timescales.
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
  • Carry out work according to manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in approach.
  • Maintain high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Ensure all tasks follow health and safety guidelines.
About You

You must have experience as a MET in a Bodyshop environment or be a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician looking to transition to a Bodyshop role.

  • A competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications) + bonus.
