Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Child Psychologist to lead our team in providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for children with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of our clients. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with children, families, and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide specialist assessments and interventions for children with complex mental health needs.
  • To lead the development and implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • To provide training and supervision to junior psychologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • To contribute to the development and evaluation of service policies and procedures.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in child psychology, excellent assessment and intervention skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

The salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
