Procurement Role at E3 Recruitment

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at E3 Recruitment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commodities and suppliers, ensuring value for money and optimizing supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commodities and suppliers, ensuring value for money and optimizing supplier performance.
  • Develop and represent the supply chain department with a nominated project team.
  • Provide input and forecasts on supply relating to specific projects.
  • Introduce strategies to effectively manage current and future supply chains.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, including business reviews, supplier visits, contract and SLA reviews.
  • Support business continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain SAP and other databases are accurate at all times.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Buyer or other related roles within a technical manufacturing environment.
  • SAP or Salesforce experience.
  • Ability to negotiate skilfully with internal and external groups.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • CIPS/MCIPS preferred but not essential.
Benefits:
  • £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • 25 Days annual leave + Bank holidays.
  • Company pension contributions of up to 8%.
