To support the tendering process for telecommunications site builds, manage variations, and finalize accounts. Additionally, assist in managing Acquisition and Design costs, and provide commercial support to Acquisition Surveyors and Designers throughout each project.
Key responsibilities include managing supplier and subcontractor costs, purchase orders, and variations. Also, assist in managing client valuations and invoicing, and provide end-to-end commercial support from Tender to Final Account.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:- Support the pricing of mobile telecommunications sites, including rooftop, street works, and bespoke solutions such as installations within historic buildings, in collaboration with the Commercial team.
- Help deliver financial targets as set out by the Senior Management team.
- Capture variations and issue Final Accounts for approval, and liaise with client QS's until agreed.
- Negotiate and agree tenders with supply chain partners (Subcontractor and suppliers).
- Negotiate and agree Final Accounts with Sub-contractors.
- Report cost value analysis to the Commercial Manager.
- Manage client expectations.
- Support build managers in making cost decisions.
- Promote and comply with health and safety within the workplace to ensure the safety of staff, clients, and others.
- Operate all relevant IT systems required to efficiently produce documents and manage contracts.
- Visit sites nationally if required.
- Keep Internal Database and reports up to date and produce reports for the Commercial Manager.
- General computing knowledge.
- Valid driving license.
- Working to an HNC or Higher Degree in Quantity Surveying or applicable qualifications is preferable.
- Exceed customer expectations.
- Complete tasks to a high standard.
- Be willing to take on new challenges, embrace change.
- Encourage lateral thinking.
- Work well under pressure.
- Achieve personal growth, coming up with a range of solutions to problems and weighing these up to make logical decisions.

Site visits may be required. While relevant training will be provided, the candidate should be physically capable of fulfilling such tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
