About the Role

Mondelēz International is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Bournville. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for driving improvement in reliability and stability of line operations and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solving technical problems of high scope, complexity, and ambiguity
  • Identifying problems in existing products or processes and proposing solutions
  • Working with the Engineering Manager to determine the need for training and talent development
  • Leading and coaching line teams to implement solutions
  • Driving process reliability and stability by solving chronic problems on the line
  • Understanding process variability and defining systems to eliminate it
  • Defining critical process parameters and tracking adherence
  • Providing technical confirmation for requests or proposals affecting the process or equipment
  • Collecting, collating, and analyzing data on key process parameters
  • Identifying and prioritizing process capability issues for performance or cost
  • Developing and delivering training and skills improvements

Requirements

  • Proven track record in manufacturing within the Consumer Goods or Food industry
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Excellent numeracy skills and project documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Educated to degree or equivalent level in an Engineering discipline
