About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and emptying bins, to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Clean and sanitize washrooms, restrooms, and other communal areas to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.
  • Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures provided by ABM UK to ensure consistency and efficiency in our cleaning services.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to any cleaning-related requests or emergencies, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers alike.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning or janitorial role would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Good understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, with a focus on maintaining a high level of energy and productivity throughout the working day.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
