Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a leading FMCG manufacturer in Shepton Mallet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of engineering, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Work as part of a team of engineers on shift, ensuring seamless operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role in FMCG or similar production unit
  • Knowledge of automated processes and recognized engineering qualification
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience, including 18th Edition
  • Ability to work 3 weekends out of 8 and participate in overtime opportunities
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £48,500 + excellent benefits
  • Additional on-call payments averaging over £1,000 per annum
  • 30 days' holiday, inclusive of English Bank and Public holidays
  • Pension scheme with 5% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution
  • Life assurance: 2 x annual salary

This role would suit a candidate with experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related field, looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
