Exciting Opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Shepton Mallet. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of engineering, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure smooth operation of production processes
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in maintenance and engineering

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in FMCG or similar production unit
  • Knowledge of automated processes and control systems
  • Recognised engineering qualification and relevant certifications
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience in maintenance and engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • 8-week shift cycle with varied hours, including early, day, and late shifts
  • 3 weekends out of 8, with overtime available
