Job Title: Early Years Nursery Practitioner Level 3

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Years Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bridge Lane Nursery. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Room Leader and team in providing a safe, secure, and caring environment for children.
  2. Plan and provide child-led and adult-initiated experiences, activities, and play opportunities that enable children to develop and learn.
  3. Select, prepare, and use a range of resources suitable for children's ages, interests, and abilities.
  4. Maintain children's records and carry out assessments.
  5. Settle in new children and provide ongoing support, liaising with parents and maintaining good communications.
  6. Undertake laundry and kitchen cleaning duties daily.
  7. Keep laundry/art areas and kitchen clean and tidy.
  8. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy nursery.
  9. Ensure nursery policies for health, hygiene, and safety are adhered to.
  10. Lock up and unlock nursery premises if required.
  11. Keep abreast of current issues and attend training programs outside of working hours if necessary.
  12. Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and implemented in the nursery.
  13. Respect confidentiality within the setting and maintain high standards of conduct.
