Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Twinnie Day Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a planned programme of activities tailored to the needs of our children;
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, including key milestones and achievements;
  • Work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure seamless integration of children with special needs into our setting;
  • Support and uphold the highest standards of practice within our nursery, adhering to all policies and procedures;
  • Strive to safeguard children by adhering to our organisation's safeguarding Code of Conduct;
  • Liaise with parents and carers to provide regular updates and support;
  • Attend regular training sessions, staff meetings, and other out-of-hours activities to ensure ongoing professional development;
  • Be flexible and adaptable in your working practices to meet the needs of our setting.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years or a related field;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a day nursery or similar setting;
  • Possess excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance;
  • Be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding of children's needs and development;
  • Have excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children and parents effectively;
  • Be able to write clear and accurate reports, and maintain accurate records;
  • Have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively;
  • Be a calm and caring individual, with a reliable and punctual nature.
