Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor with Panel Membership, specialising in legal services focused on Mental Health Law. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated approach to legal representation and be able to operate effectively across multiple locations.

Job Description:

  • Solicitor who Specialises in Mental Health Law
  • Membership in the Law Society's Mental Health Tribunal Panel
  • Managing a caseload of Mental Health Law matters
  • Representing clients in Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Section 117 aftercare meetings
  • Meeting fee-earning targets and maintaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Contributing to business development and marketing efforts

Working Arrangement:

  • Primarily remote work
  • Option to use offices in London
  • Requires strong independent working skills, self-motivation, and excellent organisational skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE
  • Mental Health Tribunal Panel membership
  • Extensive experience in handling Mental Health Law cases

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This represents an excellent opportunity for a Mental Health Law professional seeking a challenging, flexible, and impactful career path.
