Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer Scrum Lead to join our Front Office Suite (FOS) team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our front and back office trading applications using the proprietary Beacon Dependency Graph and Glint, our UI framework.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to effectively communicate with both internal teams and clients. You will work closely with our internal and external clients to understand their application development needs and adapt our platform to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop applications and components comprising FOS
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and adapt our platform
  • Work with clients to gather and analyze requirements and product enhancements
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback to the team
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of software development experience using Python or other OOP languages
  • Experience designing and building customer-facing applications/components
  • Empathy for clients and a desire to solve customer problems
  • A strong focus on design, testing, and adhering to best practices
  • Ability to work in an agile-based project management structure
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Experience with Trading and Risk Management systems
  • Familiarity with MVC or MVVM architectural design patterns
