About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Space Project Control Specialist to join our team at Serco, a leading Space Services Provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile space missions and contribute to the success of our customers.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting programme managers with all activities related to project and activity cost, schedule, and risks. This includes:

  • Preparing, procuring, and monitoring procurements from tendering to contract closure
  • Identifying and reporting forward-thinking measures, current status with deviations, and recovery actions
  • Preparing management reports, including dashboards, to highlight status, outlook, and actions to be taken in project control and management support
  • Maintaining close cooperation with the Business Unit Controller as needed for internal and external reporting

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse and multinational team environment. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent, experience in controlling and/or management of activities and resources in the aerospace industry, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced use of Excel.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including a flexible working policy, wellness activities, and employee assistance programs.
