Activities Coordinator

At HC-One, we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team. As an Activities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that bring joy to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement activity programmes that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that support the care home's goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
- Work closely with the care team to identify residents' needs and preferences, and tailor activities accordingly.
- Manage and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
