Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Role

Protocol Education is seeking a skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in a Good Ofsted rated school in Grantham. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in managing behaviour and working 1:1/in small groups with children who require additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in managing behaviour and implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Work 1:1/in small groups with children who require additional support, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Follow the plans of teachers and teach whole classes, using your skills and experience to engage and motivate students

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
  • Be flexible in your practice and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Be positive, reflective, and resilient, with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with pupils
