Job Title: Education Support Worker

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Support Worker to join our team at the Pupil Referral Unit. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who have mental health, anxiety, or social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide support to pupils with complex needs, including those with SEBD
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
* Assist with the delivery of educational programs and activities
* Maintain accurate records and reports

**Requirements:**

* Recent and relevant experience working with pupils who have SEBD
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

**Working Arrangements:**

* Term time only, with a possible adjustment for commencement outside of the academic year

**Safeguarding:**

* Swansea Council has a "Safeguarding is Everybody's Business" principle, which applies to all employees, elected members, volunteers, and contractors
