Occupational Health Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our dynamic team dedicated to promoting the physical and mental well-being of employees in the rail industry.

As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will provide face-to-face health and wellbeing promotion, including lifestyle screenings, and build strong working relationships with HR, Safety, and other business functions to provide expert occupational health guidance.

You will lead and participate in wellbeing initiatives and regular manager training activities, ensuring high-quality case management reports and driving improvements in service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing occupational health services, including case management and health surveillance
  • Leading projects and delivering improvements in service delivery
  • Supporting the development of OH technicians and contributing to the development of new occupational health practices and systems

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (essential)
  • Experience in occupational health nursing (essential)
  • Skills in phlebotomy, spirometry, and audiometry (formally trained)
  • Travel health vaccination experience (desirable)
  • ECG skills (training can be provided)

Due to the nature of the industry, all successful applicants are required to satisfy a BPSS level security clearance.
