Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled iOS Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Ring team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop iOS mobile applications using Swift
  2. Work with the team to investigate design approaches, prototype technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
  3. Lead the architecture and design of features from conception to launch
  4. Help improve engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness
  5. Participate in an agile development process to deliver high-quality software
  6. Collaborate with UI and Design System teams

About the Team

Our team focuses on developing a UI framework that helps create consistent, user-friendly, and accessible applications. We emphasize ownership and a customer-centric strategy to deliver innovative and seamless experiences.

Requirements

  1. Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  2. Professional software development experience
  3. Programming experience with at least one software programming language
  4. iOS mobile application development experience in Swift
  5. Experience contributing to unit testing of mobile applications
  6. Experience writing custom UI components

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  2. Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  3. Experience developing applications using SwiftUI
  4. Experience with framework Combine
  5. Experience with accessibility in mobile applications
  6. Experience optimizing app UI performance
  7. Experience programming with Python
  8. Experience with Design Systems
  9. Experience with REST architecture for web services
