Job Title: iOS Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled iOS Software Developer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS mobile applications.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our team to investigate design approaches, prototype technology, and evaluate technical feasibility. You will also lead the architecture and design of features from conception to launch, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop iOS mobile applications using Swift and other relevant technologies.
  2. Collaborate with team members to investigate design approaches and evaluate technical feasibility.
  3. Lead the architecture and design of features from conception to launch.
  4. Help improve engineering processes and tools to increase team effectiveness.
  5. Participate in agile development processes to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience designing or architecting systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  2. Professional software development experience, including experience with at least one software programming language.
  3. iOS mobile application development experience in Swift.
  4. Experience contributing to unit testing of mobile applications.
  5. Experience writing custom UI components.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  2. Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  3. Experience developing applications using SwiftUI.
  4. Experience with framework Combine.
  5. Experience with accessibility in mobile applications.
  6. Experience optimizing apps UI performance.
  7. Experience programming with Python.
  8. Experience with Design Systems.
  9. Experience with REST architecture for web services.
