As a Water Systems Design Engineer at MWH Treatment, you will play a key role in delivering complex design projects across various water and wastewater schemes. With a salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead (Mechanical) or the Senior Design Manager.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including the ability to produce cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications. You will also be responsible for producing and checking design deliverables, working closely with other disciplines to develop site/plant 3D models, and ensuring standard designs and practices are utilized wherever possible.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality throughout all aspects of their work.

Maintaining competitiveness is crucial in this position, and you will be expected to provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department. Establishing working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs is also essential.
