Job Summary:
The University of Exeter is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBT therapist to join our team as a part-time lecturer (supervisor/tutor) for the CBT strand of the postgraduate diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies for Children, Young People, and Families programme.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed clinician to join a team of accredited CBT therapists in teaching and evaluating CBT for a 12-month period. The successful applicant will be passionate about CBT, an accredited CBT therapist or a mental health professional with strong academic and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective teaching and provide clinical supervision and skills tutorials for students on the CBT strand of the postgraduate diploma programme.
- Participate in and develop external networks to contribute to student recruitment, secure student placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, obtain consultancy projects, or build relationships for future activities.
- Have evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review and have made an impact at discipline programme level beyond their own teaching.

What We Offer:
The starting salary will be from £41,732 to £51,283 on Grade F, depending on qualifications and experience. The post may attract a market supplement, in line with Agenda for Change 8a depending on skills and experience.
