We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Business Partner to join our team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational financial support and advice across various service areas, including the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) for Housing within the Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational financial support and advice across service areas, including the HRA for Housing within the Council.
  • Embed a finance business partnering approach within these areas.
  • Work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including council members, senior managers, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Background in working within finance, preferably in a local government or public sector setting.
  • AAT qualified or equivalent.
  • Ability to train in HRA finance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
